The Man In The Mirror

How do you measure the life of a man? I am not sure, however if you want to to live a life that pleases and glorify God you must read His Word. It is filled with life principles and instructions. Warning! You may be convicted once you read it, and it may create a change within you, but you will never know unless you look at the man in the mirror through the Word of God.

Finally, be careful if you were reading Scriptures and stopped, because you don’t just stay still, but you may actually start drifting away from God.

I Surrender All

I recall singing the lyrics to the song, “I Surrender All”, in church many times– filled with all types of emotions. The verse that touches me the most is, “all to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give. I will ever love and trust Him. In His presence– daily live.” The real test to the words of the song came when life circumstances didn’t go the way that I thought that they should have, or when there was a loss of a loved one or an disruption in my life. I often had to surrender these situations to God over and over again, but my joy did come in the morning and so did my testimonies.

The Secret Place

When was the last time you visited the secret place? I invite you to stop by today. It is a wonderful place of peace and rest and it is free! You can visit it right where you are, right now! The secret place is spending time in the presence of God through worship, prayer and His Word. You can talk to Him about anything and everything and He won’t tell a soul! (Psalms 91)

Did You Get Your Shot Yet?

No, I am not talking about the Covid shot. There are other things in our environment that affects us spiritually. God has prescriptions to protect us, and to immunize our hearts from diseases that attack our souls. The prescriptions are faith, hope, and love. To get the full effect, you must read the good news daily. (1 Corinthians 13;:13)

3 Ways That God Speaks To Us

There are many ways that God speaks to you and me. I am sharing three of them in this post. First, God speaks through the written Word of God. Secondly, God speaks to us during our prayer and quiet time. Lastly, God speaks through wise counsel. The question becomes are you taking time to seek Him? and are you listening, and as well as being obedient to His voice?
