We are called to be good stewards of the life that God has given us. Each of us have unique gifts and talents that we can use to serve others and bring glory to God. This can be done through volunteering, serving in our communities, or simply showing kindness and love to those around us. When we use our gifts to serve others, we are fulfilling God’s plan for our lives and bringing joy and hope to those around us.
The question is, how are you using your gifts to be a blessing to others? Place your answer in the comments below. (1 Peter 4:10) #spiritualgifts #beablessing #goodstewardship
We all have experienced circumstances unexpectantly or out of our control at one time or another. As believers this should not surprise us, because the word of God promises trials and tribulations. But don’t you worry and don’t you fret. Do this instead:
First, take your impossible situation to God.
Next, don’t allow how long you have been waiting hinder your faith.
Always remember that God is on your team and what He is capable of doing in your life (go down memory lane of how he has worked out situations in your past).
Be sure to be honest with God (and yourself) about your doubts.
Then, watch God do what He does best and that is work all things for your good.

Have you ever broken a promise? Do you recall how it felt? Or has anyone ever broken a promise to you? Well, I am so grateful that God is faithful and that according to the bible, He cannot lie. I believe at times during our waiting season, we wonder if God hears our prayers. Here are five promises of God that you can hide in your heart to encourage you, as you wait on God to come through.
- God Promises To Answer Your Prayers
Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
- God Promises To Always Be With You
Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
- God Promises To Work All Things For Your Good
Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
- God Promises To Take Care Of All Your Needs
Philippians 4:19, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
- God Promises Freedom from Your Sin
I John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We may face challenges that make us question our beliefs, or we may struggle to find meaning in difficult circumstances. However, these challenges can also be opportunities for growth and self-discovery. When we face these challenges with faith and trust in God, we find that our struggles are transformed into opportunities for spiritual growth and enlightenment. We learn to let go of our fears and anxieties, and we find strength in the knowledge that we are part of something greater than ourselves. So, to all those who believe in God, I encourage you to hold fast to your faith. It is a powerful force that can guide you through even the darkest of times, and it can lead you to a life of meaning and purpose. Trust in God, and know that He is always with you, guiding and supporting you every step of the way. (Proverbs 3:5-6). #faith #trust #surrender #believe
When was the last time you said “Yes” to yourself?
For me it was yesterday when I went to the grocery store to pick up some fresh fruit. To my surprise the strawberries had gone up extremely high in price. The old version of myself would have walked by them and bought some processed sweets because of course they are much cheaper.
But I ask at what cost? So, I leaned towards the newer version of myself and purchased the organic strawberries and that one yes, led to many yeses and over $70 later I was still elated that I said yes to ME!
So, I ask you once again, when was the last time that you said, yes to you and how did it make you feel?

Self-care–mind, body and spirit is very important. Very often we do so much for others that taking care of ourselves is not in our list of priorities; but we must change that thought process. Bryant McGill states that “taking care of yourself is the most powerful way to begin to take care of others.” The is an ongoing life lesson for me. So I challenge each of you to take the following pledge:
- To ask for what you want in life.
- To remember that you cannot control other people’s actions. Just your reactions.
- To define what happiness means and looks like to you.
- To be more grateful for who’s in your life, instead of who’s not in your life.
- To celebrate each victory, no matter how small.
- To make time for the little things that bring you joy.
Taking time for self-care will empower and strengthen you to take care of others.

Celebrating You Ministries hosted its inaugural women’s empowerment event on Saturday, May 5 in Dearborn, MI. The room was filled with love and support for one another. Comedian Dani Thomas had us laughing from the core and Nicole Thomas inspired us all with a message entitled, “You have the Capacity,” The event also included self-awareness and self-development exercises that helped us focus on our goals and dreams.
Celebrating You! Mind, Body, and Spirit was created to inspire women to celebrate ourselves. We play so many roles in life; Mother, Daughter, Wife, Sister, Friend, Aunt, Grandmother, Employee/Employer and Caregiver. Sometimes we lose the person (woman) that we are, while fulfilling our obligations. The Celebrating You! blog and women’s empowerment events are created to encourage, empower, motivate, and inspire you to value not only who you, are but whose you are! The scripture says that you are a masterpiece that has been wonderfully and fearfully made in His likeness. You are worth celebrating your wins, everything that you have gone through has made you stronger. Now It’s time to celebrate you!
